Ben Mayo

CEO and Managing Director

Ben holds an MBA and has over 25 years’ experience in leadership and business development. Prior to joining Dover Castle Metals, he founded and led Vie Capital, one of Australia’s leading providers of legal funding solutions. Ben was also instrumental in the growth of long-standing family business Mayo Hardware, a global supplier to trade, government and commercial markets. Ben managed relationships with key clients including BHP, Rio Tinto, Woodside Petroleum and FMG.

Since his appointment as CEO and Managing Director of DCM in 2022, Ben has provided strong hands-on leadership, guiding the Company’s restructuring and day-to-day operations.

Ben has a proven track record in sourcing and managing top independent experts, culminating in DCM’s highly successful drill program, which drilled an impressive 13,000m during Ben’s first year in tenure. The resulting dramatic increase in the JORC Mineral Resource Estimate for the Company’s flagship project, Dover Castle, has added enormous value and established a solid foundation for future growth. Concurrently, Ben has led the capture of value across the Company’s highly prospective project portfolio.
