John has over 30 years’ experience in leadership and finance, navigating complex financial landscapes, analyzing trends, and making strategic decisions, with a strong focus on the mining sector.

John started his career with Ord Minnett Jardine Flemming as Senior futures trader during the 90’s before founding and leading financial advisory firm, Northern Wealth Advisory Group. Over a 20-year period the company grew both organically and strategically from the acquisition and integration of multiple firms. Northern Wealth Advisory Group’s strong culture and high performance allowed it to consistently earn high institutional ratings.

As Chairman, John’s values-led leadership, focus on strong corporate governance, collaboration, innovation, resilience, and integrity, ensured the company’s great success. John continues to apply these values in his role as Non-Executive Director of Dover Castle Metals.

Beyond his Board position with Dover Castle Metals, John’s depth of experience and industry network in domestic and international markets, particularly the mining sector, enables him to successfully trade derivatives on his own behalf.
