Project Pipeline
Dover Castle Metals mining tenements are located in the Herberton Tin Fields, 2.5 hours south-west of Cairns, Queensland. The mining tenements cover approximately 225 square kilometres, as shown in the figure below.
Key infrastructure is easily accessible, with the rail and road network intersecting EPM27231, and ports available in both Cairns and Townsville.
Our strong pipeline of projects spanning our mineral-rich tenements includes:
- Our flagship project, Dover Castle;
- Tommy Burns;
- Koorboora; and
- Wolfram Line.
In addition to these priority projects, there are other promising prospects located across our tenements, including Fitz’s Gold. These will be explored in due course.
The strategic location of the Projects provides several key logistical advantages. Cairns serves as the regional service hub, offering access to an international airport, specialist mining and industrial services, and heavy equipment providers. While Cairns offers major port access, future concentrate exports are likely to be routed through Townsville, which hosts a major deepwater mineral export facility and established bulk concentrate handling operations.
Additionally, the nearby towns of Mareeba, Tolga and Atherton offer significant industrial capacity and service hubs supporting heavy industry, mining contractors, and adjacent sectors. These towns also represent important sources for workforce recruitment, providing a skilled labour pool within commuting distance to the Projects.
Cairns’ dynamic economy, driven by tourism, regional infrastructure and trade, combined with the liveability of the broader Atherton Tablelands region, offers an attractive base for workforce attraction and retention. These advantages support the long term operational sustainability of the Projects.
The Company also benefits from a range of established site infrastructure that provides a strong operational platform for current exploration activities and will support future development at the Dover Castle Project and other projects within its portfolio. This includes a basecamp, core processing and logging facility, site access tracks, helipad and logistics staging areas, and laydown and fuel storage areas.
These facilities have been strategically developed to enable cost-effective exploration and are capable of supporting the transition from exploration to early-stage project development with minimal additional capital investment.
