Dover Castle Metals is an Australian public unlisted company that focusses on exploration of critical mineral deposits in Queensland.
Established to capitalise on the state’s rich mining history and supportive environment, we target minerals critical for Australia’s economy and the global transition to a low-carbon future. There are no viable alternatives to many of our targeted minerals’ applications in clean energy and sustainable technologies, and demand is expected to remain strong. Tin concentrations, for example, look very promising at a time when, according to tradingeconomics.com:
“The global tin market is projected to shift from a surplus of 6,000 tons in the previous year to a deficit of 5,000 tons in 2024. On the demand side, rising sales in semiconductors and technology, especially in AI and automotive chips, are expected to bolster tin prices, supported by increased global demand for semiconductors”.
We have a portfolio of highly prospective projects across our mineral-rich tenements.
Our flagship project, Dover Castle, is a polymetallic deposit containing silver, tin, lead, zinc, copper, and indium. Ben Mayo, the Managing Director of Dover Castle Metals, stated,
“We have undertaken a comprehensive drilling program at Dover Castle. In the 12 months from September 2022, we have drilled 15,000m, and are excited by the results. Modelling using a bulk tonnage deposit style delivered an Inferred JORC MRE of 74 million tonnes at 53.4g/t Ag Eq, using a 30g/t Aq Eq cut-off grade, including 46 thousand tonnes of Tin, which is exceptional. The deposit remains open in all directions and is potentially amenable to open pit mining.
Diamond drilling commenced in March 2024 comprising ~2,000m for structural interpretation and metallurgy testing.
Our project pipeline also includes the Tommy Burns, Koorboora and Wolfram Line projects, which expands our target critical mineral portfolio to include tungsten and bismuth. Exploration completed to date has produced excellent results.”
